The qualification process is simple. A professor from the interested academic department must send a letter to the attention of the VisSim Academic Program (by mail, fax: 978-692-3102, or email: info@vissol.com) identifying the school, department, specifics of the training program, software required and delivery information. The letter must also state that the software is being used for non-profit activities. Upon validation of the information, Visual Solutions will grant a departmental license and ship the software. Please note that this program may not be available in certain foreign countries.

Free Version Departmental Site Licenses include:

• A one year license to operate the software on an unlimited number of machines in the department. The free license for the VisSim Academic Package will be renewed at no charge simply by registering for a license extension at the termination of the first year license.
• One user manual for each licensed product.
• All department faculty members and students enrolled in the VisSim training program may make copies of the software for personal use on- or off-campus.
• Technical support is available to faculty members only by email to: support@vissol.com. Questions will be answered on a time-available basis.

Software delivered under this program will not be updated, upgraded or otherwise maintained by VSI. The academic institute may, however, upgrade to the most current version of the software (Version 5).
