modification of the square wave

How can I modify the square wave suxh that I can change the Up time and Down time ratio? Example> I need to make a pulse that has X duration value = 1 and Y duration value = 0 and the sequence repeats N times in a unit interval. OR 1 minute ON, 4 min OFF and the sequence repeats. Thanks
